BTS 방탄소년단의 흥행으로 기업공개까지 노리는 빅히트엔터테인먼트

 

 

빅히트엔터테인먼트 2005년에 설립된 연예기획사입니다.

MBC 위대한탄생에 출연했던 방시혁 대표가 지분의 50.88%를 보유하고 있으며

2대주주로 방시혁 대표의 먼 친척인 방준혁씨가 의장으로 있는 넷마블이 25.71% 보유하고 있습니다.

 

 

 

이제는 너무나도 잘 아시겠지만 빅히트엔터테인먼트의 대표직원 방탄소년단에 대해서 간략히 알아보겠습니다.

방탄소년단은 BTS 防弹少年团 防弾少年団 로 불리며

방탄에서 알 수 있듯 총알을 막아내듯 사회적인 편견을 막아내고 음악적인 가치를 지키겠다는 의미를 지니고 있습니다.

리더 RM을 비롯하여 슈가, 진, 제이홉, 지민, 뷔, 정국 7인조 보이그룹으로

싱글 앨범 《2 COOL 4 SKOOL》로 2013년 데뷔했습니다.

 

 

 

방탄소년단(BTS)이 우리나라 가수 중 최초로 미국 빌보드200 차트에서 1위를 차지하면서

빅히트엔터테인먼트가 엔터테인먼트업계 새로운 별로 부상하기 시작했습니다.

세계적인 방탄소년단의 관심만큼이나

주식시장에서는 아직 상장되어 있지 않은 빅히트엔터테인먼트의 상장이슈는 관심이 뜨겁습니다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

아직 구체적인 움직임은 없지만

빅히트엔터테인먼트가 상장하게 되면 시장에서 얼마나 평가를 받을까요?

먼저 넷마블에서 빅히트엔터테인먼트 지분매수가로 역산을 해서 추정을 해보겠습니다.

25.71%를 2014억에 매입을 했으니까 4배를 곱하면 8000억 가량으로 추산할 수 있을것입니다.

그러나 2014억원이라는 금액은 친척 할인D.C.(?)가 들어갔거나

앞으로의 사업적인 관계를 고려해서 비교적 저렴하게 넘긴 것으로 판단됩니다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

시장에 거래되고 있는 동종업게 기업으로 비교를 해보면 쉽게 이해할 수 있습니다.

현재 엔터주 중 시가총액 1위인 에스엠(041510)을 기준으로

빅히트엔터테인먼트의 가치를 쉽게 추산해보겠습니다.

에스엠의 경우 현재 시가총액은 9300억원 규모이며

작년 영업이익은 109억원에 당기순손실 47억원이라 발표하였습니다.

 빅히트엔터테인먼트는 작년 영업이익이 325억원에 당기순이익 245억원을 발표하였습니다.

에스엠과 영업이익만 단순비교해 보아도 3배가 넘습니다.

게다가 올해 방탄소년단이 빅히트를 쳤기 때문에

영업이익이 작년보다 더 증가할 것이라는 것은 당연한 사실입니다.

이러한 사항까지 고려하며 현재 예상되는 시가총액은 대략 2조7천억 이상이 되어도 무리가 없어 보입니다.

 

 

 

 

다만 빅히트엔터테인먼트의 감점요인으로는

방탄소년단 BTS 외에는 손에 꼽을만한 아티스트가 없다는 점입니다.

연예기획사 3대장으로 꼽히는 에스엠(041510), 와이지엔터테인먼트(122870), JYP Ent.(035900)의

라인업에 비하면 초라해 보이는 것이 사실입니다.

 

 

 

그러나 상장을 통해 유입된 자금으로 탄탄히 라인업을 갖춰 나간다면

생각보다 쉽게 문제가 해결될 수 있을 것 같습니다.

또한 방탄소년단을 기반으로 글로벌 엔터사업을 추진한다면

그 성장세는 가히 가공할만하다 할 수 있을 것입니다.

In case of SNU, the total value of the market is 930 billion won, and last year's operating profit was 10.9 billion won and net loss 4.7 billion won. Big Heat Entertainment announced operating profit of 325 billion won and net profit of 245 billion won last year. Even if you just compare the operating profit with the ABC, it's more than 3x. And it's no surprise that this year's bullet-proof boys will have a big hit and their operating profits will rise even more than last year. Taking this into account, the estimated market capitalization now stands at around 2.7 trillion won.

However, the demerit factor for big hit entertainment is that there are no artists to be found in the hands other than the bullet-proof Ais. It is true that compared to the lineup of Esem (041510), Wiji Entertainment (122870) and JYP Ent (035900), who are considered the three leaders of entertainment agencies, they look shabby.

However, with the money flowing through the listed market, the problem can be solved more easily if the line up is maintained properly. Also, the growth rate of the global business will be very significant if global business is promoted based on the bulletproof youth group.
